Here is our list of terms that you may encounter when you are shopping online or looking for bargains and discounts, some are self explanatory, but others

2 for 1
A type of BOGOF free offer, if you purchase one item the merchant will give you another for free. Also 3 for the price of 2, which means you have to buy 2 to get 3 items.
Bargain
A bargain is when a product that is usually sold at one price is on offer and is available to buy at a lower price.
Basket
The shopping basket is what you add the items to you wish to purchase from an online shop. It stores the items you have chosen until you decide to go to checkout.
BOGOF
Is an acronym and it stand for Buy One Get One Free.
Coupon
A Coupon code is a alpha-numeric code that a shop will give you and when redeemed will often apply a discount or special offer on your shopping.
Checkout
Checkout is the purchasing satge of the buying process on a shops website.
Discount
A discount means that the item has had it's price reduced.
Freebie
A Freebie is a commonly used term to indicate that something is given away free, often shops will give away a free gift when you purchase a particular item.
Free P&P
P&P stands for Postage and Packaging, and is the delivery or shipping of the item to the purchaser by the seller. Often merchants will send the item for free.
Promotional code
A promotional code is another name for a shopping coupon.
Sale
A sale is a period of time when a shop reduces the prices of some or all of its products. Usually seasonal such as New Years Sales or Summer Sales.
Special Offer
A Special offer might mean that a product or range of products or a service are available at a cheaper price for a limited time.
Voucher
Another name for a coupon
